We organize where others only campaign.
From the Naguru headquarters to coordinators in every sub‑region, PLU is a permanent civic infrastructure — not a seasonal campaign. Here is how the league shows up, every week of every year.

PLU's national HQ in Naguru, Kampala — site of the 7 February 2024 launch, Central Committee meetings, and the June 2026 Secretary General handover.
Named leaders for Kigezi, Acholi, Tooro, Greater Arua / West Nile, Ankole, Rwenzori, and Busoga — built on Uganda's traditional sub‑regions, not party slogans.
In October 2025, PLU submitted to the NRM Secretariat a full roster of coordinators at district and regional level covering the entire country.
PLU's signature mobilisation — the 52nd Birthday Charity Run on 26 April 2026 at Kololo raised over UGX 1bn for vulnerable children.
Speaker Jacob Marksons Oboth and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa serve as PLU's Special Envoys to Parliament, appointed personally by Gen. Muhoozi in June 2026.
Michael Mawanda directs nationwide mobilisation — coordinating rallies, conventions, and the network of district coordinators in the run‑up to 2026.
The current Central Committee.
Reshuffled in June 2026, with a formal handover ceremony at PLU HQ in Naguru on 24 June 2026.
